As part of the cooperation between the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the BARKS Canine Center, a demonstration and rehabilitation event for participants in hostilities was held.

It was attended by war veterans - employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and defenders undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region.

At the BARKS Canine Center, they had the opportunity to observe the skillful actions of trained dogs and learn more about the areas of their training.

For veterans, this is not only an interesting event and an opportunity to communicate with their fellow dogs, but also pet therapy, because interaction with animals improves a person's physical and psychological health.
